Great content are you still using your zve1
When's the video coming! Curious how you found the range of the Ortovox, heard it's half of the Barryvox
Hey! Thanks for the interest! The range on the Mammut is incredible. Longer than any other beacon I have used (yet) But the Ortovox is even more intuitive and I found the other beacon faster with it. They are both top options in my opnion!
@@Engearment thanks for the reply! I'm split down the middle between them - would be my first transceiver for splitboarding
if this will be your first, then I would recommend the Ortorvox. It uses very easy to use. Congrats on getting into Splitboarding!!
@@Engearment thanks! I've been watching your videos for ages on Patagonia stuff and just realized you've got G3 skin stuff and also those G3 poles reviewed too! I'm actually most tempted by the Ortovox because it's also got USB-C charging, but the range on it and what other reviews say really makes me doubt getting it
Merci !
Thank you!
I can fit sony 70-200 F2.8 GMII on this bag ?
Yep
Pueden servir para pie plano o que tiene pronador
Ive been wearing the 6" version of this boot since the early 90's. I just ordered my 4th pair. I keep going back to these. Ive bought Danner, Thursday, Redwing, e.t.c. but keep going back for the comfort. Im not hard on boots but I haven't had any durability problems either. They just Ugly out . One did start leaking, but the other two are still going.. I still have the pair I bought 30+ years ago...Love the boot!
Gnarly Vegan protein is sooooo good, I love the chocolate flavor. It mixes really well too. The vanilla flavor on ice tastes like ice cream :)
Nice! Glad you are digging the vanilla flavor. We have been constantly impressed with Gnarly!
Fantastic review! We had "off-brand" boards in the past and decided to go with what we hope and believe is a quality product. You gave many great pointers, and now we are going to have to look into buying a Kola, and we will remember to bring drinks ;)
Haha, definitely remember to bring drinks!! Thanks for the feedback, glad it was helpful!
I’ve got a lot of TrueWerk items, but not the T1. The T2 are fantastic, but a little thicker like a blue jean. The long sleeve sun shirts and shorts are my fav. The hoodie and jacket are great as well. Btw I think the 2 loops on the front and 1 loop in back is for suspenders. Thx for the video 👍🏻
So glad you love the TrueWerk gear too! We are fans over here. You are spot on with the suspenders :). Take care!
I am undecided about getting the Patagonia Mico Puff Hoody or the OR SuperStrand LT. I have read reviews saying that the SuperStrand is "coming apart, that the insulation comes out like spiderwebs" and that "the fabric gets holes easily." However, the price differences between the two OR and Patagonia is huge now. The OR is on sale at $228 CAD while the Patagonia is $409 CAD. Have you had the same experience of the insulation coming out of the OR jacket? Is the Micro puff warmer than the SuperStrand. Thanks!
Hey! Great questions. First, I have not had the issue with the insulation coming out of the SS,. Though I am sure it can happen. But after a few seasons of use both are still going strong. I would get whichever fits you better. They are both really great. The price of the SS (and pretty much all OR gear) is very very fair. Both are equally warm as well. Either one will treat you well. Let us know what you wind up going with and how you like it!
@Engearment Thanks for taking the time to reply. I went to a store and tried the OR SuperStrand on, I did see that several of them had insulation coming out and even realized that in one of the jackets, the OR logo was printed on top of a string of insulation that had come out, I got the impression the quality was not great because of that. So, I decided to go to the Patagonia store here in my city and bought the Micro Puff hoody jacket. It is much more expensive, so I kind of suffered because I am trying to be a frugal person, but I am also a perfectionist, so I need things to totally satisfy me. I liked the service at Patagonia and the fact they will repair or replace the jacket in any Patagonia location worldwide. I hope it's worth the investment! Thanks :)
@@alonsom1988 hard to go wrong with Patagonia! Worth the price in my experience. Hope it treats you great!
I like the Active steady shoot stabilization on the A7RV better! In selfie configuration A7RV is way smoother than the ZVE1 in the same cong. Its not even close for me. The ZVE1’s dynamic active stabilization wins in 1st person shooter perspective but the crop makes it look like a micro 4/3 camera, and it seems hard for you to keep your head in the frame. Your 20mm lens looks more like a 40mm.
Yes! Great points! Love it. I have been relying on the A7Rv for the majority of the videos we shoot, abd the ZVE1 as my go to locked off shot in the studio. The A7RV also handles heat much better. But, of course, it is much more expensive. Gear, got to love it! LOL. Take care!
What if someone close it from outside when we are inside
You can unzip it from the inside

Pretty sad you feel the need to put one of those "guidelines" things before one can comment. I was going to say that I just found your channel and I like how simple your reviews are. And that for $290, that cooler better do my taxes.
Hello! What are the “guidelines” you are referring too? I have not put anything in the way of anyone commenting. Please elaborate. Thanks!
Thanks for the review. Costa is by far my favorite brand because not many others offer the glass lenses I prefer. Lost a pair the other day and was looking into the gradient lenses. I think I’ll stick with the dark grey for my application as I’m worried the gradient would be too bright for me.
Good call! I would stick with cat 3 grey or blue lenses for most activities as well. Glad you can appreciate Costas's quality!
I just purchased a pair because they were on sale. After watching your video, I'm feeling good with my decision. Thanks!
Great review - I’ve just bought one. Just a question regarding ongoing care. Have you successfully washed jacket? If so how did you dry after washing - air dry or tumble dryer ? Thanks
Thank you! Stoked you grabbed one. It is such a great coat. I do dry it on low heat with a few tennis balls in the dryer. Hope that helps!
Thanks! for this review. I have and use the Salewa Rapace GTX The grip with the Rapace GTX is Phonomanal in mixed mountain terrain. I want theses boots but on there fence only because I need more information on all aspects. I want them for the lightweight aspect and agillity and probably more breathability in warmer climates? Is comfort good on longish mountaineering treks?. can you carry a heavy loaded 65L camping backpack with this boots? can you trek longish distance without discomfort or blisters? I very interested in this boot because Im sure it will fit my feet as already using the Rapace GTX. this is new tec from Salewa and a newish boot to there line up... Thanks!.... 👍👍👍 Lightweight with support sounds good to me..
What is coupon code ?
They no longer have an active coupon code. Sorry
Hi mate, great vid. How cold was it when you were filming this? I’m after a warm jacket that I can use over a tee shirt and maybe a thin jumper while keeping warm in colder temps. Temp range around 5deg Celsius. Would you recommend this jacket? I travel a fair bit also for work so it would be good for a nice warm jacket for static use (flights etc) and city use. What’s your thoughts?
Hey! It was around 20F in this video. I would be cooking in this at 5C (I think that is like 40F?) So it should treat you well for your conditions. Take care!
What if the battery needs replacing? And it needs a kickstand?
Narrow or regular? Thanks
I watched all your videos on the chilipad. I came from the original chilipad cube, then upgraded to the Ooler. Both Oolers starts making a LOUD scratching noise middle of the night. The 2nd unit is now out of warranty and sleepme will not service it. I just bought a would new Dock Pro and mattress pad again. I use to swear by it and after watching most of your videos. I hope it as not a bad decision to upgrade to the dock pro + pad.
I came from chili cube and then ooler. The ooler start screaming middle of the night and out of warranty. There are RUclips videos of my ooler screaming. Chilipad won’t repair it so I have to buy the dock pro now. Is the ooler water reservoir larger than the dock pro? Not a fan of the monthly subscription for the app.
I am a huge fan of Kuhl and your channel. I will be buying the 50L duffel after your review. I already own the 25L as well. Can I get a couple of Engearment stickers for my Pelican case please? Much appreciated. I will be buying the 50L duffel after your review.
Would be so helpful showing the grates inside and how it’s put together as well as using with and without the top. I think I seen they have a griddle you can use to cook the food.
Getting Magnum P.I. vibes from these shades Sean! You rock these ;-)
Hey buddy! I appreciate the fun comparison! That was a fun show :)
What kind of lav mic are you using?
I believe it is the DJI 1st gen or Rode Wireless Go II. I go back and forth with them,
Now made in china with terrible qc ive had to return 3 pairs of santiago one after another the day they arrived in the mail for shocking lense flaws an scratches from the factory on glass lenses that were once nearly unscratchable an unbreakable. A sign of the cost cutting times. A month an 6 days of wasted time an energy dealing with a company that no longer cares. Costa are not the brand they once were. Got maui jims cost me more but they are flawless
Those look a little too long, even bending your knee they're hanging over your heel. Wish you'd talked about length more.
I dont feel like they are too long. I rather have an extra inch in length than shorter. They hit right at my boot when hiking. I feel like that is ideal for a little extra protection. Just my 2 cents.
@@Engearment OK thanks for the feedback, maybe it will fit me in Regular.
I just found them but they are waterproof for $99. Wonder if they'd be breathable enough maybe I should get them lol
will it accommodate a Lectric XP 3.0 Bike?
I am not sure. From what it looks like, that bike folds up, right? Sorry, I do not have access to that exact bike to test that fit out for you.
intermittent running of the freezer for 16hours ? if not, its impossible to still have 82% with 36W consumption of the freezer ( eco mode ) right ?
Would these work as safety Eyewear? I have oakleys and for what I do I like the fact that they can't shatter and can take a hit. These look good just not sure if they would be appropriate.
Hello! I would not recommend glass lenses for safety eyewear. I would find a pair of rated safety glasses, my friend.
I guess my question is do you think the plastic lense option for these glasses would be a good bet?
@@dasword100 I wish I could 100% say these (in the poly lens) would be safety glasses, but I am not sure if they are rated as such. I could not find any info on that. Personally, I would use the poly lens for the activities that I do. I have experience with these safety glasses that are quite nice as well. More of a full wrap style shade. I use them for hiking, biking and cutting wood. UVEX Mountain Perform V - Full Coverage Category 1-3 Sunglasses ruclips.net/video/QdzZGz8Fpgo/видео.html
I have been checking prices and it is very expensive. In my opinion not worth it.
Had my rincons for 10 days and they got stolen 😂 thinking about buying another pair, they were great glasses
Oh dang! Sorry they got snatched, that stinks. But glad you liked them while you had them!
How are your MPGs impacted. I have a T4R as well. Low MPGs are a given with those. I’m just wondering what your real world experience regarding MPGs.
Hello! Yes, there was a 1.5-2 MPG drop in most situations. Plus, a little drag in high wind. But it's worth it overall. In my opinion. Take care!
Thanks for the review. Just curious - did you receive this from the company to review or purchase it?
Hello! Yes, this particular belt was sent to us just as it was coming out. But we purchased the other 12 belts we have from them. I met the co-founder many years ago and have been impressed with the brand. We are having them on our podcast soon as well.
I would like a good training shoe but also everyday wear. I want to get away from the plushy pillow souls that a lot of manufacturers are making as they are making my feet more unstable.
Good idea! Better for mechanics too.
I just bought one of these but my bag doesn’t have the backpack straps! How did you get those?
Love your vids! What’s size did you get? And how tall and how much do you weigh?
Thank you! I’m considering this tent as an upgrade from my old 1p tent. I want to sleep outside more no matter the weather, so i’m wondering if this tent can withstand moderate to heavy rainfall combined with wind, and maybe even during winter?
Hello!! I have had it in wind and rain, but not snow. Not sure what part of the world you will be using it. But I would not recomend it for serious winter use in the mountains where we use it. I am sure it can be done, but we get quite a bit of snow and I would assume that would be too much for the tent. When in doubt, I opt for a 4 season tent. For most folks, in moderate weather, this tent will be great. Hope that helps!
@@Engearment I’m sure this will do fine (In Norway but no heavy snow camping in the mountains) Thanks again!
@@markust4413 Wonderful! Happy camping my friend!
